Prices

Professional Fees

Please note that my medical and professional fees are completely separate to those charged by the private hospital.

Out-patient consultation charges:

New consultation: £200 to £250
Follow up consultation: £150 to £170
Please note that there are additional charges for any procedures carried out in the out-patient department.
 

Charges for out-patient procedures:

Fibreoptic rhino-laryngoscopy (endoscopy of the nose, sinuses or throat): Up to £167 + hospital fees

Microsuction of ears (to examine the ears, remove infection or wax): Up to £100 + hospital fees
This is a procedure used to examine and remove debris from the ear canal, using an operating microscope and surgical suction equipment.
Allergy skin tests: Up to £100 + hospital fees
Fees for other procedures are available on request.

Please note that the fees for any X-rays or hearing tests are not included in the consultation charges and will be charged separately by the hospital. Information on the hospital fees can be obtained from the Spire Bristol Hospital's private treatment adviser's office on Tel: 0117 980 4000

 
 

Fees for ENT operations:

My fees are set at a fair market rate and reviewed annually taking into account inflation and other cost factors.
The majority of medical insurers pay my fees in full, but some insurance policies may not cover the whole amount, especially where there is an excess to pay or where a maximum reimbursement level has been set. In all circumstances, it is the responsibility of the patient to ensure that all fees are settled in full.

I am a BUPA Premier partner and the Surgeon’s fees for BUPA patients will be met in full by BUPA unless there is an excess to pay.

Please note that the charges for the Anaesthetist and the hospital are separate to my operative fees.
